Renewing Georgia's Economy

Three ideas to rejuvenate the economy:

Establish tax-deductible worker savings accounts that can be only tapped during a layoff. Employers may make tax-deductible matching contributions to such accounts. The maximum amount that can be saved in this account is 8 months of one's current monthly salary.

Constitutionally codify the to have a state government that is an incubator of a competitive and sustainable private sector and to an infrastructure not prohibitive to economic growth.

Require companies that offer 401(k) packages to make them opt-out opposed to opt-in (this idea originates from Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein).

Thoughts?

The income tax-deductible contribution layoff self-insurance is interesting to me, but only if withdrawals are taxable in the year withdrawn. Earnings are shielded from taxation, and the income tax rate is presumably significantly less during a year with any significant time off work so there’s a benefit.

Simplify though, and dump the eight months thing. So you take a lesser paying job that suits you better and have to adjust the account? Furthermore an amount based on pay means better benefits the rich, kind of like the General Assembly’s dalliance with the vehicle ad valorum thing last session. Use a simple cap of (voila---eight months income out of the air number) $50,000.

The crash of the U.S. economy has begun and this is the real economy we've been avoiding for years. Not only is it bad for Americans, but also lousy U.S. economy hits the whole world hard. It is nice to know that the government is trying to rejuvenate the our economy. Anyway, since the biggest of Federal Holidays is approaching, people wonder – are banks open today? Or is the Post Office open today? Well, the answer gets complex. As to "are the banks open today" is concerned, they might be – it depends on the bank. Check with your bank to see if they are closing early, or just closed on July 3rd. It depends on the branch. The Post Offices will be closing at noon. Neither banks nor Post Offices will be open on Saturday, July 4th – and a lot of stores will be closed as well. You have to check your area, so get your fast payday loans in order. Are the banks open today– well it depends on where you are. To read more, please visit http://personalmoneystore.com/...pen-today/
